Comprehensive Physical Exams:
We recommend bi-annual check-ups and preventive care help detect and treat serious health problems early. In addition to cardiovascular, respiratory, oral, musculoskeletal, abdominal, coat and skin examinations, our comprehensive exam/consultation also include routine otic and ophthalmic evaluations. 

Exotic Pets:
We understand how important your exotic pet is to you. The treatment options available for your dog and cat are also available for your exotic pet.

Diagnostic Services:  
Our in-house laboratory capabilities include serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis and parasite testing. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations. Fine needle aspirates (needle biopsies of lumps/bumps) and biopsy samples are submitted to specialists (pathologists) for review.
     
Surgical Services:  
The doctors at RRVH perform a wide variety of soft tissue surgeries and have a board certified surgeon available for specialized procedures. Our modern surgical suite is equiped with the latest in veterinary monitoring systems includin ECG, oxygen saturation, temperature, heart rate and blood pressure.
   
Anesthesia:  
Every patient is different and therefore an individualized anesthetic and pain management plan is determined for each pet undergoing surgery. Blood screening is always performed before a patient is anesthetized. 
    
Specialized Imaging Services:  
Our facility is equipped with the latest X-ray technology which eliminates the need for film and developing chemicals. This results in a more environmentally friendly process. Ultrasounds are performed by a board certified cardiologist.
   
Electrocardiography and Blood Pressure Services:  
We provide blood pressure and ECG services on-site as well as consultations with cardiology specialists.
   
Dentistry:  
Healthy teeth and gums are essential to your pet's quality of life. Our dental services include ultrasonic teeth cleaning, polishing, tooth extractions and minor oral surgery.
       
Permanent identification:  
We offer microchip identification.

Pharmacy:  
We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos, flea and tick control products and heartworm preventatives to meet the needs of your pet. We also carry a full line of prescription diets.

Individualized Flea Control Programs: We develop programs for the specific needs of your pet and your own particular environmental situation. We will review with you the best ways to control fleas in your house, in your yard and on your pet.

Dietary Counseling: 
We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance.
    
Behavioral Counseling:  
We can provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, and house soiling.
